Home Schooled Applicants

91热爆 welcomes applicants from all educational backgrounds. This page provides guidance for those who complete their high school education through home schooling.

The Province of New Brunswick provides guidance on .

To be admissible in an 91热爆 program, applicants must demonstrate how they meet Program Admission Requirements. As a home schooled applicant, you must do this by aligning your home school curriculum with the Province of New Brunswick’s High School (Policy 316).

Students must complete required credit hours across the seven subject area clusters and achieve a minimum grade of 60% in high school courses. Please review the Government of New Brunswick’s for more details; see page 10 for information on clusters and course titles.

Step 3: Submit your completed form and any additional supporting documents in your by clicking the "Upload Document" button.

Please note that your program application will not be considered complete or eligible for evaluation until your Home Schooled Student Application Form and additional supporting documents are received.

How do I complete the Home Schooled Student Application Form?

The application form is where you identify the home school courses taken that meet New Brunswick high school graduation requirements and indicate which course they align with in the NB High School curriculum.  The following information is required:

  • NB Curriculum course name and code: This is where you identify the NB High School courses .
  • Home School Course(s) Name: This is where you identify the name and code of the course taken through your home schooling which is the equivalent of the NB High School curriculum.
  • The final grade you achieved in your home school course.
  • The term and year you completed the course (Example: Fall 2026).  If you are currently completing the course, please provide the date you expect to be complete.

If the curriculum in any of your home schooling course was modified or adjusted from the original curriculum. Please review the Personalized Learning Plans section of the document for more details.  

What else do I need to know?
  • Life experience matters! If you completed previous post-secondary courses or acquired related work experience, you may be eligible for credit transfer or formal recognition through RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning).
